Niamh Kenny’s experience in European and national programmes includes LEADER, EQUAL and INTERREG. Through Exodea Consulting she subsequently worked extensively in research, innovation and renewable energy and was involved in securing major European funding for demonstration and innovation initiatives.
This included winning approximately €8 million in funding for the TIDES project, which demonstrated tidal energy technology in Northern Ireland, as well as supporting other marine renewable energy initiatives including DEMOWIND.
Niamh has also worked as an EU Horizon 2020 evaluator, providing experience of European innovation programmes from both the applicant and evaluator perspectives.
